After School - Prospect Park
Nature and Gardening in Prospect Park - Drop Off
We explore Prospect Park, nearby community gardens, street trees and other wonderful green spaces where kids will learn about amazing plants, mushrooms and delicious weeds! They learn to recognize and help native and endangered plants, grow and bring home delicious greens and explore the coolest flora and fauna! We intend to be outdoors in the park as much and as often as possible. This includes hot, cold, windy, snowy and drizzly weather.
Parents and babysitters have the option of dropping children off at the park, including pods. Maybe your child is being home schooled? Maybe they are coming from a school where we don't offer pickups? We'd love to garden and nature with your child! We offer ONE DAY drop-ins/drop-offs with ONE WEEK'S notice, as long as we do not exceed capacity! Please read below because the registration form will not allow you to do this unless approved by Eman. We maintain small, safe, happy groups of kids.
Available for Kindergarten - 5th grade. Older kids will have more challenging activities. In order to make sure younger kids do not feel left out or overwhelmed, we recommend kindergarteners sign up with a buddy or pod member (sibling, best friend, etc.) Ask your kids to come up with a fun name for their pod! Pods will work together in small groups and we will keep classroom buddies, siblings and age groups together. Parents and babysitters also have the option of dropping children off at the park, including pod drop-offs.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID concerns, we are limiting capacity. We are LIMITING DROP-OFFS TO TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS. These days are also open to nearby schools, but we will work in small groups. We close registration when we reach capacity.

We have fun outdoors safely with face masks on, follow relevant COVID protocols and will communicate regularly about staying safe and healthy while having a blast outdoors!

Please know this can only be done with ONE WEEK'S notice and you must receive confirmation 72 hours before the class, and the registration form below must be filled out at least ONE WEEK beforehand. If you have not received an email or text confirmation that your child is officially registered for a drop-off, we cannot allow your child to attend the program. For everyone's health and safety, please do not show up to the park unless you've received registration confirmation from Eman. If we are at capacity, we will not allow drop-offs. Kindergarteners are only allowed to sign up for the entire Fall season, not for one-day drop-offs!
